I started capturing pictures as a kid using a Kodak Instamatic camera before eventually migrating to 35mm film. I switched to full digital in 2010 after I convinced a small newspaper to hire me as a reporter and photojournalist, which is what I’m still doing today.

Although I’ve taken college-level digital photography courses, I’m essentially self-taught, something I managed through the ruthless and unapologetic exploitation of family and friends, friends of friends, landscape and street photography. My knowledge of lighting, composition, and post-production work has all been cultivated through countless thousands of hours of self-study.

I began dabbling in portrait photography part-time in 2012, finally taking the full-time professional plunge in 2017. Today, I continue to push myself to cultivate my craft and provide a professional experience for my clients. Anyone, anything, anytime, anywhere. Always.
